| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Objetivo: avaliar a eficácia da ozonioterapia na diminuição da dor e na qualidade de vida de pacientes com lombalgia. Métodos: a busca por evidências foi realizada nas bases MEDLINE, EMBASE, LILACS, Cochrane Library e BIREME para a pergunta estruturada. Resultados: o tratamento com terapias convencionais foi mais favorável do que a ozonioterapia. Os grupos controle e experimental evoluíram para melhora da lombalgia e não demonstraram diferenças significativas entre ambos. Conclusão: não há evidências recomendação forte a favor da tecnologia. No entanto, não há também indícios de que seja uma tecnologia insegura. Mais estudos são necessários para avaliar a segurança e eficácia da tecnologia. |
| Abstract: | Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of ozone therapy in reducing pain and quality of life in patients with low back pain. Methods: the search for evidence was carried out on the MEDLINE, EMBASE, LILACS, Cochrane Library and BIREME databases for the structured question. Results: treatment with conventional therapies was more favorable than ozone therapy. The control and experimental groups evolved to improve low back pain and did not show significant differences between them. Conclusion: there is no strong recommendation evidence in favor of the technology. However, there is also no evidence that it is an unsafe technology. Further studies are needed to assess the safety and effecti-veness of the technology. |
